The downhole, non oriented, electric wet connect has now been successfully introduced in 7 subsea wells.
There was challenges initially, with a lot of gravel pack sand in the completion, not enabling us to even get the coupler fully mated. However, after the client introduced improved wellbore cleaning prior to deploying the upper completion, our technology proved its value.
Having so much sand in the wellbore just made it impossible to even enter the Lower coupler with the Upper coupler.
